So wonderful! This museum has been on my list for ever, and I am so glad we finally got to visit. The entire display is overwhelming and so inspiring. We spent hours walking through the museum and we still didn't get to read/take it all in. Seeing all of Walt's oscars was so amazing, and going into the rich history of Mickey & Oswald made me smile. He was an incredible man and this homage to him is just wonderful. I can't wait to go back!

A wonderful Museum that takes you through the entire life of Walt Disney. There are multiple artifacts and displays including a large replica of Disneyland Walt's Train The Lily Bell is also on display. If you take the time to read the material along the way you get a very accurate picture of Walt's life and his major accomplishments. I found at the end I was much more knowledgeable about Disney and what he did to become such a cultural icon in our country. Excellent job did the Disney and imagineering folks who put this together.

For a Disney lover.. awesome! Here's the thing, every part of the museum was great MINUS the children running rampant. If you're going to bring them, WATCH AND DIRECT THEM... there is far too much to read and watch without children ruining it. Devote quite some time to traversing the museum because it's 4x bigger than you expect it to be when walking up. The special exhibit was fantastic as well! I recommend finding a way to purchase tickets prior to entry. We got ours through a credit card perk and spent 1/2 of what they were at the door.

Great museum with tons of interesting facts about the Disney family. First off, note that it is a museum about the Disney family, not a family museum. While there are some activities for kids, it's really for adults. Most kids will be bored long before the adults have finished absorbing all that this fantastic facility has to offer. Check the movie times to see if there is something playing for the young ones then immerse yourself in the Disney family journey.

Awesome place to find out about Walt Disney, the amazing person (as opposed to the Disney company; although both are very closely linked until Walt's death). Lots of original artifacts arranged in very informative and often interactive displays. The facilities are great too, in the gorgeous Presidio with unbeatable views of the Bay and Golden Gate Bridge. They also have a second building for special exhibits that are totally worth visiting. I am a member of this museum, so that should tell you what I think of it and it's worth!
