I was seated at a table where a very nervous young man by the name of Camryn Johnson was quickly removing the dishes - which he dropped several times - from the table. The food was great, and my wife and I really enjoyed the restaurant. I do not feel as though employees such as Mr. Johnson should be put out in the restaurant until he’s been properly trained. Would consider returning to this restaurant again!

We love going to The Wellwood. The staff is always friendly and helpful. We appreciate the dining options between The River Shack and The Wellwood along with the menus. Don't be surprised if it's packed and there is a wait. Just relax and enjoy the live music and a drink at one of the bars.

I had an Amazing dinner & Awesome customer service experience. From the hostesses to my waitress & the band. Even the patrons were warm & inviting. It was my 1st time eating their. It was Saturday 7/23/17. A coworker who's opinion I value when it comes to good eateries. Her & her husband are the best at giving great reviews. Thanks Wendy! You were spot on! My drinks, appetizer &  broiled seafood combo. Delicious! And my sweetie enjoyed his meal as well.I'll be going back for crabs.👍

My family and friends have been going to the River Shack for the last 4 years on my Birthday, WOW! is all i can say. This place is amazing. I make the reservations and they are ready for us and always accommodating. Love the place, view, people are always friendly, service is fast and on point. I have one special request every year and they accommodate it every time even tho a few years ago the manager changed the new one still said yes.. Thank You River Shack for being Awesome. Also Food is out of this world, never got anything that wasn't great.  Grateful Customer

Loved the place.  There are several venues.  All of them look relaxing.  The menu was very diverse.  We had some great crab nachos, nice soups, superb seafood tacos shrimp and crab and fish, flatbreads, and pastas and the whole table of 9 was pleased.  Not a simple thing to do.  Call ahead to be sure.  Nest time I want to eat outside.  Staff were friendly and helpful with new options.  They are busy.  Docking options available or the water taxi.
