We visited Theismann's with a co-worker who really enjoys sports bars & that kind of atmosphere.  The restaurant is named after a former Washington Redskins player. We went around 5 pm, in enough time for happy hour specials.  We sat at the bar & had several apps, which were pretty good. The duck spring rolls were nice & so was the pretzels with beer cheese dip.  The service was pretty quick,  but it helped that a friend knows the staff.

Went on a Monday afternoon so place was slow.   Very friendly and outgoing bartender who was great in terms of beer and food recommendations.   Very good food.   Classy sports bar with reasonable prices,  very good prices for the area.

Excellent lunch. I ordered lamb chops with roasted sweet potatoes and vegetables. the meat was so tender cooked to perfection.  Waitress was friendly and helpful.  Highly recommended.  Will definitely go back.

Fantastic service and high-class food! This is a great place to meet with friends or take guests to. Lively, classy dinner atmosphere-- this doesn't have the typical sports-bar feel.

Michelle was our server for the evening. I went with a fellow driver friend. I'm only in D.C. for a couple of days and was looking for a great meal. We were not disappointed at all. She had the fish special, the mahi mahi and I had the pork chop. Both dishes were great. I normally don't photo my meal but I had too.
Great food, great service
