I can't believe the things I've heard this doctor say. And the other low reviews are right on point. This doctor told me wife she was depressed and stressed and that her thyroid was fine(even though he upped her dose anyway) and that her moodiness was because shes a women. .. wow. Avoid at all costs.

My wife met with Dr. Shahzad Ahmad and now that I have read the review on google I understand. She had the same experience as everyone else. Short, didn't listen to the problems. When she explained that she also hadceliac he told her that the medication she had been on for years had gluten and she needs to use something else. She has been seeing him for 3 years and he has never addressed this. Also once I did a little research I found that there is a good possibility that it does not include gluten. I will confirm with the MFG. THIS IS HIS JOB!!!!! What a disappointment.

Dr. Sharma was very knowledgeable and spent all the time needed to cover all my questions and concerns.

Dr. Ahmad was personable, the office was clean, the staff was friendly, and they were all really understanding about my having to bring my child with me to the visit. Dr. Ahmad is very knowledgeable and patiently answered all of my questions.

I had an appointment with Dr. Shahzad Ahmad and he spent about 5 minutes with me. He was condescending and not even slightly helpful. I had been diagnosed with Hashimoto's Disease and was taking Levothyroxine, which my primary care doctor had prescribed. Dr. Ahmad informed me that I shouldn't be on levothyroxine, my primary care physician didn't know what he was talking about, and that I was probably feeling fatigue due to depression. I attempted to explain that my depressed mood was in response to feeling crappy all the time and he responded by letting me know that he has felt stressed at times but that didn't give him a depressed mood. I've been to doctors since him and none have agreed with his statements. I never write reviews but this experience was bad enough that I felt I should warn others.
