Great coffee shop. Well-trained and friendly barristas. Free reading materials includes Times-Union, 518Spot, ALT, etc., plus a substantial library of hard cover fiction and non-fiction. Lots of sunlight in the morning. Plenty of comfy seats and communal areas. BONUS: The owners of this shop paid for the renovation of The Madison Theater next door. Stop in for a great coffee and tell them 'Thanks!'

This place surprised me with an unforgettable egg sandwich! I highly recommend it, whether you're on the go, or looking for a place to sit and stay awhile. Plenty of great coffee- and tea-based drinks, as well. I love the ambiance, love the people, love the location. It's great!

I'm in love with their collection of ice cream and sorbets. Coffee and drinks are pretty good.

Love this spot. Used to go here when I was in the area. Every time I visit, I try to have a good cup of coffee.

Always great coffee, service and music. My only issue was with the breakfast sandwiches. The first one I got was on a salted everything bagel. The steam from the sandwich sitting in the heated cupboard melted the salt making the sandwich very salty. The second one I got said it was egg and cheese, but it actually had bacon on it. I can't even take away the star though because they use REAL FRIED EGGS.
