Story

You may have gotten a hint of this already... but I LOVE what I do! Designing, baking and decorating cakes for life’s special occasions is both exciting and fulfilling. Since you are trusting me with such an important aspect of your celebration, I want to feel like you know me! So, here are some basics. A little about me: I LOVE cake. I grew up learning to bake in my grandma’s kitchen, where there was always a pan of cake on the counter. With nearly every trip through the kitchen, we’d stop, grab a fork and get a taste. A little over six years ago, I turned my passion into a full-time profession when my husband, Matt, and I started baking out of our home kitchen. A couple short years later, we opened our first brick-and-mortar storefront called ButterSweet Cakes. Custom cakes were the primary focus, but we also sold our recipes in the form of cupcakes. As fate would have it, cupcakes exploded in popularity and eventually became the majority of the business. ButterSweet Cakes is now ButterSweet Cupcakes, with the original Yukon location and the more recent Edmond location. Hundreds, if not thousands, of cakes later, I am fortunate enough to now have a private cake decorating studio, known as Tiffany’s Cake Atelier. It is a real blessing to play a small role in life’s most important occasions. From celebrating birthdays and anniversaries to baby showers and weddings, my job, if you want to call it that, is extremely satisfying. I look forward to creating some new memories with you!
