Even in Winter we got to see a lot of wildlife. This is a great place for birding and relaxation. There are bike trails and many people walk their dogs.

Great visitor center with friendly, knowledgeable staff. Just make sure when you use Google maps to put in visitor center.

Mid-summer and still found lots of native wildflowers and even a few wild roses. I just wish dog owners would pick up their dogs' poop. Saw piles and even poop in plastic bags on the trail. Poop shouldn't be left to wash into wetlands, then ultimately into the ocean. Lazy humans must do better.
