They do a good job when they feel like it. 
On my pickup truck the tailgate hardly ever gets cleaned by any car wash. About 1/3 of the time at top wash they have a guy/girl do it by hand. If it was every time I would rate it five stars. 
I also noticed a couple cars going threw with rust on them. That will scratch the hell out of all the new cars if not cleaned right away. I’ve watched a couple cars go threw and they didn’t clean it right away. I assume they do it every night.

I have always used gas station car washes before trying Top Wash. I was a little skeptical about the prices but went with the best car wash they had. I don’t regret it at all. The car wash was great, the staff were friendly and helpful, and I even got a can of soda with my car wash. The suction on the free vacuums isn’t great, however.

The staff was friendly. With that being said, if I'm spending $15 to wash my truck I'd like it to be somewhat clean after words. My windows were dirtier(soap residue) after it was washed. My tailgate and grill were still covered in salt,  the same with my undercarriage.  I'm not one of those guys that worry too much about his truck being shiny,  i just wanted  the salt off. Next time I'll save the $8 and go to do it yourself place so i know the salt will be off

Service. Service is what sets these guys apart from their most direct competition on the other side of town on Coon Rapids Boulevard. I tried their best wash for $18 and wanted to see how it was. My car is black, so it is easy to notice anything. First time through was okay, but there were bug spots from my recent round trip to Chicago. Max came over when I was looking at it and took initiative to ask if I wanted it taken care of by them. Max and others helped me leave with a nice shiny car. In the beginning they even offered a beverage while I went through. 

I will say that like most car washes, the dryer leaves you wanting more. The outcome of the most expensive wash contrasted to the cheapest is not a big difference. Your car is mostly clean either way. Since I only wash a few times a year, I go for the best wash they offer with the unsubstantiated feeling I treating my car a little nicer with some barely noticeable protective coating.

I would recommend checking Top Wash out.

I left a tip for the boys that did a great job washing my car, then I saw the manager walk up and take my money from him. I would've kept my money if I knew he was just going to take it. I don't care if there is a tip jar or something, it was not meant for the manager.
