Not only is the food incredibly delicious, the staff is attentive to the point of making you feel like a family friend in their kitchen. The prices are also better than what you will see at other restaurants with abundant portions, and they even put that hot plate of goodness on your table faster than you might see at many "fast food" restaurants. Healthy vegetarian options abound with the same great quality and speed. The quantity is enough to last me all day. It has become more than a good place to eat, but a comfort that we crave.  Their location at the Landing is ideal; you can't (and probably shouldn't) miss it!

Was really good food but they wanted to charge me per shrimp to add to a burrito. That seemed funny. Otherwise everything was very good.

Excellent location.  Great customer service.  Enjoy having good Mexican food in Washington that isn't Washingtonionized.  It actually has flavor and isn't bland.

The staff is INCREDIBLE and the food delicious! It's fast, quality food and a warm, accommodating staff that seems like they genuinely love their job. Special shoutout to Felipe (Heard his name in passing, hope I got it right...)for his generosity and service.

I’ve been to Mexico and dined on food and drinks in small towns and small family restaurants.  It was good dining; and Torero’s is also good dining.

Family owned, there are only two restaurants, the recipes in the kitchen are traditional West Coast Mexico food and what I tasted was excellent.

I arrived at Happy Hour, and even though I was in the main restaurant, I ordered from the bar menu and main menu.

Their fresh made margaritas aren’t shy with tequila!  And..they’re not overboard tequila...the balance is good.

I had Pork Carnitas from the Happy Hour menu:  Little flour tortillas filled with tender, succulent slow roasted nuggets of subtlety spicy, herby pork served with a house made salsa verde — delicious!  By the by — they make their own tortillas!  You can watch them.

The restaurant is light and airy, also offering warmth and intimacy for those who are in love with their date —or their food. 👍🏻
