Great gym, great atmosphere, great instructors. The class is upbeat and the environment is supportive and energetic. The instructors pay close attention to your form and encourage good technique for optimal gains. I rowed seriously for a year prior to moving to Georgia so I feel qualified to say that Total Row is great and I hope that more people catch on to rowing in Atlanta!

This place rocks.  Three months ago I was a fat, old, out of shape guy whose idea of exercise was taking the long way to the bathroom.  Now I'm a less fat, less out of shape (unfortunately they can't do anything about my age) guy that can row for 45 mins.  I even have an ab or two poking through the layers of chips and queso.  I love this place - the 45 min. workout is not a daunting amount of time yet still delivers results.  And the low impact does not leave your body feeling as though you went a few rounds with pre-ear chomping Mike Tyson, which is a plus.  Elliot, Lauren, Emily, Katie & the crew provide a welcoming and rewarding experience for all fitness levels (and believe me, you can't have a lower fitness level than where I started).  Give this place a try - you won't regret it.

Total Row Fitness is what I have been looking for in a workout class. The music is not so loud that it takes over the class like some of the premium name classes. The two owners are the nicest people in town. Elliott and Lauren will take the time to show you proper rowing technique on their state of the art rowing machines. These machines use actual water for resistance instead of fans or knobs-- How can you get any closer to the real thing? The workout is completely zero impact, but left me sore for days. I can leave the gym knowing I did healthy endurance and strength training. The miniature relay races, challenges, and tabatas will always have my competitive nature coming back for more. If you are interested in a very quality class that is unique or you are just tired of running, give them a try. You will not regret it.

I had a great first class with Lauren today. I have been wanting to try a rowing class and Total Row was the best place I could have found. Lauren did a great job instructing us on proper technique and explaining all of the hows and whys. I left with a great total body workout in 30 minutes, feeling great, and much more knowledgeable about the benefits of rowing. Can't wait to go back!
