Staff is willing to help. If they see you wandering they offer help unlike the big box stores where they walk away from you. Prices are a little higher but I gladly pay them.

I used to go here.  It's usually friendly, and convenient.  I did find one huge issue, though, when my fiancee and I tried to exchange a Christmas ornament.  The glass tip had broken off because the cashier didn't wrap it, so we tried to exchange it for another ornament, and the older lady behind the counter apparently decided that we were some kind of con artists running a scam to get $4 in store credit.

I mean, if it doesn't meet their exchange policy then fine, but having to sit there and be accused of being a liar was a pretty negative experience.

Great hardware store. Nice open layout makes it easy to find things. Good selection of items, I've been in there a few times and haven't come up empty handed yet. 

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff as well. They really know their stuff and will take time figure out how to do something.

Nice hardware store that is much closer than a Lowes or Home Depot for some people (and us). It has general useful hardware stuff.
