I got firewood for Christmas and battery operated closet lighting! Lowe’s online site wouldn’t complete my order so I came to the store to shop.

I was struggling with boxes, employees walked right passed me. Cashier was rude and harshly corrected me when I mistook a more expensive item for a cheaper one. I apologized, and just handed her the rest to sort and scan, to avoid any confusion. I struggled with my boxes again, no one offered help. An employee entered thru the exit door as I was leaving and I had to get out of his way. I didn’t account for a windy day, so even more so the boxes were a struggle. The only person who helped me was the hot dog vendor outside, and he doesn’t even work for Lowes . My faith in humanity once again restored. But Lowes is terrible, and I will be going to Home Depot or McCledons from now on.

I am a diesel mechanic who buys alot of tools. Every single time I walked into this empty store employees obviously follow me and keep asking me if i need help (obviously to deterr me from stealing) even though theyve asked me dozens of times. The employees lack professionalism and common sense. I get it the white guy on aisle 3 doesn't get followed but I do because I'm just a brown skinned filipino. It doesnt matter if their staff is multi-cultural. Because they all do the same thing. Also I'm a marine corps veteran so I went to the front to pay for my stuff and asked for my Military discount the islander lady started asking me questions about my service. I answered all of her weird questions and she started gawking on about how her dads retired air force and how she knew what it was like. That was the last star. Never again. Update 11.1.17 I cane here to warranty out a KOBALT brand socket “customer service” said I needed to have the original packaging for the socket to warranty it out. Okay I bought a 300+ piece tool set 6 years ago? She wasn’t making any sense then she sent me to the tool dept and an elderly lady over there said I still have to pay for it then when I told her it was a Lifetime Warranty product she sent me to talk to John. John literally walked me over to customer service and explained to them that they had to replace the socket and they completely ignored me didn’t apologize and didn’t even want to deal with John. John was helpful but obviously 90%!of the store knows what the hell theyre doing. KOBALT brand tools say “hassle free warranty” but I just got hassled for a freakin $4.00 socket.

Lowe's is decent. Employees are not always able to be helpful, but are always pleasent and polite. Store is clean, but finding specfic items can be a challenge. The app that claims to show you where an item is in the store is rarely helpful. But if you find the item, the price is fair and checking out is quick.
