Went on NYE and it was still pretty well stocked. The staff was still friendly and helpful despite the place being mobbed. The crew member handing out wine samples was helpful and informative. Even though the line was pretty long it moved very quickly! They've got this down to a science!

Don’t let the Flash Long Line scare you.  The staff are Pros and the line moves about half Conga speed.  Great selection, quality house items, and cheap prices. The Healthy part is a bonus.

Trader Joe's is great. 14th street location can get very busy but there are plenty of checkouts so the line moves at a decent rate. Very limited underground parking - would not recommend driving during peak hours, just walk.

Not a complete grocery store which can be good and bad. It's nice for speciality items you can't find in regular grocery stores, but you can't buy all your groceries there. Very crowded with a long line that can wrap through most of the store, but it moves very fast.

This has been my preferred grocery store since moving to Washington, DC. However, I've found the staff to be both rude and unhelpful - to the point where I'm scared to ask for their assistance. I recently had a horrible experience with a cashier named Tonnee who was disrespectful when I asked a question about a remaining gift card balance. I purposely went to the store in the morning so I could use the remaining balance and put the rest on a credit card without inconveniencing the long line of people who come after work. The store manager was so kind and listened to my frustration with this downright rude woman. I won't make that mistake again - I'll be ordering groceries online from now on. Unfortunate that you're more likely to have a better experience dealing with no one at all than deal with these people and support your local grocer.
