Nice store layout.  As always friendly and fast with the best wraps and sandwiches.  The mini frozen croissants, ruse over night and taste like perfect fresh bakery.
The Charles Shaw wine is still there (and my father's name).  Always find low prices frozen dumpings with the best doing Sauce.  Don't forget the cheese selection and flowers.

Trader Joe's is quite busy. Great food at fair prices. The checkers get you threw the line in short time. Friendly staff and specialty items makes this store a favorite of mine. There is plenty of other stores in walking distance and great restaurants too. One of the best pet supply store is near by and Merritt lake is near by.

I go to TJ' s for specific things- the yogurt, eggs and organic mayo (incredible!).  Also cheeses.  But there is always some surprise sale, like nuts, cheese bites.  I am a chef and a renown teacher said to always check TJ' s for a great wine, then buy lots of it.
The one star ding is for the horrible parking situation at all locations, except maybe El Cerrito.

The produce section is relatively small and it's very hard to push a cart around because it's such a busy store as well. The employees seem to be really nice and helpful, but sometimes they also seem to just be standing around and talking amongst themselves. I like that they have some vegan items, especially under the Trader Joe's brand, but it would honestly be nice to see more of a variety of vegan options in the future. Parking can be an issue since the parking lot is relatively small and it's just as busy as the store.

So happy to have a TJs in the area. I am from the west coast and love Trader Joes because of their selection of goods. Its great for certain items. I wish that the packaging on some of their items wasn't so excessive but I do love the value for the quality of goods. And the eclectic style. They also have great deals on liquor if they are allowed to sell it, which varies according to state laws.
