Stayed here a few days end of summer, very nice little place. Definitely no frills but perfect for peace and quiet. No kids. Some of us prefer peace and quiet. Plus, being a no frills" campground means just that, no frills, no playground, nothing for little kids. It's nice to have a place to camp, with full hookups, and no kids running all over the place.

Beautiful location amidst tall pine trees, with hummingbirds flitting around the wildflowers.  Stayed here for two nights in August 2014.  Quiet, relaxing, no kids, did I say relaxing?  Also free wi-fi and access to many radio stations, although no TV broadcasts over the air and spotty cell phone coverage.  Lots to see and do within a few miles driving distance if you love the mountains, geology, and big blue skies. Proprietor Steve was very helpful in getting us set up.
