Story

True Veterinary Care is American Animal Hospital Association Accredited and American Association of Feline Practitioners Silver Level Cat Friendly veterinary clinic. It is our mission to treat every person and animal with respect, provide exemplary medical care and client service, to include and educate owners in their pets' healthcare, and continuously strive to listen and learn.

True Veterinary Care's services include: Preventive and medical care, Dental care including digital dental radiography, digital radiography, in-house and specialty laboratory services, spay/neuter/soft tissue surgery, and wellness plans. We also believe in integrative/alternative care and work closely with a veterinary acupuncturist and veterinary chiropractor.

We just moved to the area in September and were feeling pretty reluctant and stuck up about switching vets because our vet back home held the bar very high.  Our dogs are our whole life; they are like our kids, so we couldn't just go to any vet.  True Veterinary Care has exceeded our expectations and then some.  Both Dr. Sarah and Dr. Sallie are very thorough and make sure you understand all of the options you have available as well as the cost of those options.  You can tell that both vets truly care about your pet and want what's best for them.  The staff is accommodating, polite, and always so, unbelievably nice and helpful.  They have a convenient shop on their website where they can ship medications, food, flea & tick preventative, and heartworm preventative directly to you.  They offer wellness plans to help keep cost down.  I just cannot recommend this vet enough.  They are amazing and I am so, so, SO happy that we found them.

Dr. Sarah and her staff are incredible, and have cared for my 14-year old dog and 16-year old cat most of their lives.  Two years ago, I moved across town, and although I could choose any other vet between my house and True Veterinary Care, I would never consider it.  They know your pets are your family and treat them as such.  Dr. Sarah is the kind of person you want as your best friend.  She is realistic, honest, caring, gentle, generous and charges are reasonable for amazing services.  When you leave an appointment, you're not forgotten and staff always follows up.  They even put chocolates in my recent med order!  I simply cannot say enough amazing things about this clinic and staff.  They will always get my vote for Best of Madison.

They are an amazing veterinary practice. They pay special attention and care to your babies. Moving our two to them has been the best decision we have ever made. They are very responsive to questions. Always helpful. My babies love them.

Dr. Sarah is great! She's help my family take care of our anxious Great Dane after we moved from Indiana to Madison. We knew we could count on her expertise to help transition the same dog to having a baby in the house.

By far the best vet clinic around! They truly care, and show it. Instead of giving you one and only option, Dr. Sarah goes over multiple options she recommends. She doesn't always go straight to medications, she tries more natural ways first. 
My pets love it here!
