TSC has some of the toughest clothing you can find.  Prices are nothing special, but sales prices can be very good.  It's also an interesting enough store that you can browse around all the farm and animal stuff which kids love to see.

Shopped there quite a few times and have never had a problem with not helpful staff. Staff have always been quick with assistance with loading items in the car too

Staff were too interested talking among themselves to help look for a product let alone process the sale. It was a great inconvenience for them to ask for help!!

If I could give no stars I would.  

Probably my worst almost buying experience ever.  I phone ahead to ensure that the product I was looking for was in stock and it was.  When I arriver at the store, I looked for said item (25kg bag of sodium bicarbonate) and I couldn't find it.  

I approached the checkout clerk to ask for help because no one else was around. She asked a guy behind the Customer Service desk. He asked for a SKU number, which I had to lookup on my phone while he wandered off to do something else.  Once I found the SKU number he verified that the item was in stock and it should be in aisle 12 or 13.  I said that I had looked and couldn't find it.  He doesn't offer to come help me, but instead calls his manager who says it's in aisle 13.  I was left on my own to go find it and handle the 25kg bag on my own.  Is this not a liability - to have your customers un-shelf 25kg bags on their own?

I went back and finally found the bag on my own. When I went to check out, another clerk asked for my phone number.  I asked what for.  She told me that they needed it incase there was a recall.  I said I wasn't interested in providing my phone number.  She told me that she couldn't sell it to me then.  WHAT?  That is ridiculous - where is privacy policy on what they do with my personal information?

So after 30 mins of looking for my item and trying to check out, I left the store with nothing. A complete waste of my time. 

I called another TSC store and asked if I needed to give a phone number to make a purchase and they told me no - The only time they ask for a phone number is on returns, which is acceptable.

Don't waste your time or money at this place...it's not worth it.
