Super gross. We used to go to go here almost every weekend when we lived in Sarasota, it was perfect after a long beach day. Cold beer / drinks, and reasonably priced good food. We moved out of town, and hadn't been here for maybe a year. We went back with friends, and the place was remodeled, and nice looking, we were seated, and had a great waiter. We ordered our food, and that's when it all went wrong. The fish and chips literally looked like someone had emptied out the bottom of the deep fryer. Small chucks of greasy fish-like balls the size of a quarter served on a bed of greasy fries. The Mahi tacos were cold and bland. All the food were served was mediocre at best. We loved this place, but will not be back.

Stay away. We were told a one hour wait for outside tables and we were okay with that. After about 45 minutes we kept seeing people get seated who arrived after us. I approached the hostess desk and it was very clear we had been forgotten. She said that seating two people was difficult because there are only so many 2 top tables. We were told we were next. I could see on her list that she had missed us. Our wait was so bad that even the bartender noticed we had been there a long time. Hostess said the worst case is that we would sit at a 4 top. I've worked in the food industry long enough to know the solution was seat us immediately or send us over a complimentary drink or app. Nope she finally seats us at a 4 top and with a bitchy fake smile throws the menus onto the table. 

Okay we get it, it is busy so we put on a good face and think positively about our dinner. Here is the positive the rolls were warm and soft. We liked them so much we asked for more. The highlight of our meal was the rolls. My husband's stuffed shrimp were okay but lukewarm. The potatoes were odd and watery. My Mahi Mahi was dry, over cooked and bland. There were 3 potato pieces that were bland and flavorless.  The vegetables were half moon slices of zucchini and carrots with zero flavor. 

I can't think of a reason to go back even though they had opportunity to turn our evening around. 

Bartender and waiter were very pleasant.  Not enough to go back though.

Food was great, service was on point and the atmosphere was wonderful as well. Nice landscape scenery on patio areas. Highly recommend to anyone going to Sarasota or turtle beach.

Great place with Patty playing great music outside. Dogs are also allowed. Great happy hour menu with affordable items. So much fun.
