I collect non-sports cards, but still enjoy coming to this shop every few weeks. They have a good selection of supplies and do have a small selection of non-sports cards. Friendly staff, have always felt welcomed and enjoyed talking about the hobby with the staff.

Horrible place to go!! People are and all out rude right away when I went in there to try and sell my my sports card collection!!  Couple of greedy older guys tryin to make bank off a younger . This place doesn’t even deserve a chance to get rated!!! ABSOLUTELY do not go to this place! I’m.Waste of time for sure.

Visited today with my father and son... good selection, and helpful guys working, but with anything, buyer beware. 
Right away my father spotted two different Ted Williams/Joe DiMaggio autographed photos that were very obvious fakes. 
I made an impulse purchase of a 1977 Topps wax pack that I was told was sealed. The person working said "I put it in the plastic vault myself."
I removed the wax pack from the vault to open it and noticed immediately that the wax pack had already been opened. 
Inside the wax pack were 9 cards of players I'd never heard of. 
There was a loose piece of gum inside the pack.
I can live with the possibility that the seal on the pack had deteriorated with time, and I can deal with the odds of getting a pack of baseball cards without a single known player in it... what I have the most trouble swallowing is why this supposed "unopened" pack only had 9 cards in it...1977 Topps wax packs came with 10 cards. 
I highly doubt I'll be going back. 
Experiences like this are what sours so many people on collecting this stuff...nobody likes getting royally screwed out of their money.

This place is not a good place to sell your spot cards all they know how to lie and rip you off. I'm not sorry for the  ones that think they are the best card place to sell at I THINK NOT BE ABLE TO KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING WELL SELLING YOUR CARDS😠😠😠

My family has been going to Twin Cities Sports Cards/Papa Hawks for over a year. We enjoy dealing with Rob and Mark, each are knowledgeable and friendly. They have a passion for sports collectibles and enjoy helping you find what you're looking for. I've traded, sold and purchased items here and it always was a good experience. My wife purchased some Christmas items for family members here, and all items were well received. 
Check out their Sports Collectibles and Card show at King of Grace Lutheran School in Golden Valley coming up on January 28th, 2017.  Several different vendors and more.
