This isn't the closest liquor store but I happened in here the other day to get some wine. The clerk was very welcoming and friendly. He gave me some great suggestions. All the Twin liquors have a pretty descent liquor and wine selections.

Not the hugest selection, but I was pleased that the cashier helped me with some wine choices. I appreciate the customer service! And they have an amazing sale going on right now.

I came into twin liquors to pick up a bottle of whisky and was shocked by my un delightful experience. I frequent this liquor store and the service from the young gentleman behind the counter is always superb. he has a wealth of knowledge about whisky and has always been a pleasure to work with. Tonight however , there was a female who was rude to say the least. After entering the store I was surprised to NOT be greeted at all, even though I was the only customer in the store. After browsing for a whisky to try, and not receiving any advice of help I decided to go with my go to Chivas. After selecting my adult beverage I walked to the counter and to my suprise the woman at the counter was greeting a customer as they walked in. I heard them ask for her advice on a Vodka and she went to help them find there selection. I walked to the register and patiently waited for the employee to return to the register to check me out. after a lengthy conversation about vodka with the person who walked in, the lady returned to the counter. I pulled my ID out and proceeded to try to purchase the Scotch. After verifying my age (standard procedure) the clerk refused to sell me the whisky because I had nothing to pay with other than a 100 dollar bill. the Scotch wasn't a 10 dollar bottle so i didn't see why she wouldn't have 50 some odd dollars to give me change ! I gladly left without hassle and just made a mental note to never come to this establishment AGAIN if it wasn't the gentleman Im used to receiving excellent service from. I love twin liquors and this store is awesome but the Lady behind the counter doesn't seem to like me for some reason :( very disappointing.

Pretty good deals on liquor as far as Austin goes. This location is pretty dank.

Love Specs but I find myself more and more at Twins. So many neighborhood locations make it convenient and their prices are competitive with Specs.
