I had a cast on my broken foot and my son was recovering from a concussion. In the middle of packing the truck they stopped and said i had to pay more money or they would unload my things. A $300 move went to $460 and they broke my trunk lid ....which i didnt realize for a few months....so they eould leave an injured person with no help for $160. I complained but nothing was done. I tell everyone not to use them nor buy furniture from compass who owns the trucks and employs the movers. Dont use them they are shady.

Nightmare.  We had a move scheduled, weeks in advance, for 9 am.  The movers showed up at 7 PM.  Debbie at Two Men and a Truck fed us lie after lie all day long instead of telling us the truth, which was that she put a big ($$$'s), unscheduled job in front of ours that day.  First she told us the truck broke down, but she had a leased one that was going to be available at 2.  Then it was going to be available at 3.  Then, that truck wasn't going to be available, but they were fixing the broken truck and it would be read at 3:30.  Then at four, they were just finishing up a job and would be over to us shortly.  At 5:00, they were just finishing up two jobs and whoever finished first was headed our way.  At 6:00, they were again just finishing up and job and would be there shortly.  They showed up at 7:10PM, and from talking to the movers, none of it was true.

Horrible Horrible Horrible customer service.  We scheduled a move at 9am.  The movers did not show up for work that day, so replacement workers were sent over at 1pm.  Of course that cannot be helped, but it was a tremendous inconvenience on a tight schedule and we had to miss work that day, costing additional money.  We were offered 10% of the charge, which comes out to less than $40.  We repeatedly asked to speak with the president of the New Orleans company, as we felt we should be compensated more for such a huge lapse in service.  When the president finally contacted us, not only was $40 the most he was willing to part with, but he repeatedly accused us of trying to EXTORT him and that threatening to write bad reviews due to this experience is CRIMINAL behavior.   So, if you're looking for someone to show up 4 hours late, then accuse you and insult you - these guys are for you.  Good luck.

NEVER use this company to move your belongings.   My wood furniture was scarred up because they didn't wrap it correctly,  my sofa was torn in three spots, the sheet rock was damaged from my old apartment and my landlord took it out my security deposit, the behavior of the moving men was so inappropriate I called someone to come over because I didn't feel safe.  I never got a refund and my complaints were dismissed without resolution.   They are owned by Compass furniture so don't buy furniture from them either.
