I took my dog there for continued care and monitoring while my vet was closed. I was greeted by friendly staff who were already familiar with what was going on. When I picked him up I received his chart that detailed everything that was done during the night. They followed my vet's instructions perfectly. Because my dog was a transfer the fee was minimal. I am so grateful to have an option that guaranteed my furry family member was monitored and cared for after hours. We are still waiting to see if our baby recovers or not. But I do know my Tramp has been getting the best care possible between my vet and the emergency clinic. Thank you. ❤️

My puppy has a broken leg, took him to the emergency vet. The man was VERY rude. Wasted 120 dollars only for him to tell us to put our dog down or find a primary vet (we just got our rescue puppy) said he couldn't do anything. We took him a vet and his leg can be fixed easily. He was unprofessional and didn't seem to care at all about our pup. When he got done talking he didn't. Leave any room for questions, didn't say anything at all and just walked out of the room. After waiting about 10 minutes I asked the nurses if he was coming back and he had went to another dog without saying anything to us. Not giving anything to us for pain, nothing. I asked him to come back in and he gave us a few pain pills, shoved it down my puppies throat and walked out again. Would not recommend this place for emergencies.

Had to rush my little dog who was diagnosed with ketoacidosis/diabetes after a local vet in Palestine didn’t take her symptoms seriously. When I took her in for a second opinion at another vet in Palestine they informed me of the test results and stated she needed around the clock care and would need to go to a ER vet. Once we arrived in Tyler the staff was ready to take her in and knew of her diagnosis. Dr. Drost and staff are excellent and although ER vet care can be expensive her final bill was much less than what our local vet charged for just 5 hours of care. Tootsie was at the ER clinic for 3 days and had wonderful care! We are very grateful for all they did.

Carried my dog in for labored breathing and also stated he was swollen.. not eating and weakness. Was told that he needed to lose weight and said he was just “panting” overheard them in the back saying “she keeps talking about his breathing” Vet came in, made me feel like I was unintelligible and stated blood work is fine, he’s just panting. Charged me almost $300 and my dog died an hour later. Brought him back like they suggested, no one greeted us in the front except the receptionist to discuss our options or as to why they sent my dog home in that condition. After 5 minutes or so, we waited for a vet or even a tech to come out and nothing... (surprise, I wouldnt either if I sent someone’s pet home saying they’re fine and died after they left the facility) After we left, we received a phone call apologizing that our dog had passed away. (even though I stated his breathing wasn’t right before I left and I was ignored because “his blood work was fine.”) This facility is a joke and they don’t listen to their customers when the owner knows their pet the best. I would advise to NEVER bring your animal here! I lost a family member.. complete negligence. They will misdiagnose or not help at all. Veterinarian care should really be evaluated here. Strictly money driven. Tragic!

Vet (Dr. Alexander) and staff were compassionate and did their best to help our dog. They were upfront about options and were very kind. We are going to try some of their suggestions and hope for the best.
