My family and I bought 2 French Bulldogs here before we were aware of how this place is ran. They get their dogs from puppy mills and only care about the money. We went by there today just to pet the babies and saw that there was an English bulldog that was laying down and getting bit and trampled. We couldn't tell if she was breathing or not. She obviously wasn't feeling well so I went to get an employee to check on her. He said "Oh they do that all the time, and she just had her medicine and nebulizer this morning." I asked him again to move the dog and pointed out that the dog was obviously very dehydrated. The baby's skin was practically melting off of her body the way it does when they are dehydrated. He said "there is a water bottle right there" and I said that the dog is too lethargic to get up and even if she did then she would just continue to get knocked around by the other puppies that were bigger than her. We had a crowd by this point all asking him to please move the dog. They FINALLY separated the baby girl but it took SO much for them to do so. Absolutely ridiculous. I explained that I used to work at a vet clinic and know the signs of a sick dog and even someone who is inexperienced could have seen that the dog was obviously not feeling well and it did not help that the other puppies were chewing on her and running her over. Unacceptable. We felt so sad for that baby. Also after looking at other puppies we notice that their nails are so long that they are curling into their pads. Either shut this place down or fix EVERYTHING about it. Take care of those babies! Their living conditions are unacceptable. NOT OKAY.

My husband and I have been going back and forth between getting a Boxer and a Boston Terrier because we both love those dogs. Well we found the absolute perfect Boston Terrier online at the Petland in Tyler,TX. We were looking in all different cities in TX because there are no Petland stores in Houston where we live. Anyways, we called the Petland store in Tyler on Friday 12/29/17 and told them we were four hours away but we found the Boston Terrier online that we have to have and that we would be there at 2:30pm and to please hold the puppy for us. No problem there. We drove four hours with a one year old. We arrived at 2:30pm just like we had said. I went over to the puppies and found the Boston Terrier...the only one they had.... While my I was playing with the puppy my husband asked me if I had my phone because he didn’t think that was the same Boston Terrier we saw online. We pulled up the listing on their website and immediately confirmed the Boston Terrier was not the one we saw online. We went to the gentlemen who was helping us out and explained the situation of it being a different puppy than what was listed online. The gentleman went to find his manager and printed off the listing of the puppy and both of them came over to us. The gentleman asked his boss if he could take a look at the picture and the actual puppy. The manager’s response to the gentleman was “what about it?” My husband and I told the manager that the puppy did not have a full white collar neck and all of his paws were not completely white like the picture. The managers response was “oh these pictures are taken when they’re puppies” My husband and I said “no” and reiterated what we had already said. The manager tried to blame the breeder because the breeder is the one that sent the picture of the puppy. My husband and I were thinking, how is it the breeders fault? The breeder isn’t in control of the websites puppy pictures. The manager walked away without even apologizing or trying to resolve the situation. He seemed to busy and like he didn’t care whether he sold the dog or not. We told the gentleman and we would still be interested in the puppy but wanted to know if there was anything they could do price wise to lower the amount since we drove four hours, and he knew we were coming from that far away. Before the gentleman helping us out could even ask his manager his manager waved us off and over heard that we were asking about a lower price he said no. Needless to say we didn’t purchase a dog from them and wasted over $100 in fuel and food for nothing. Whoever does he pictures for the website should make sure 100% that each picture of the puppies/animals is the actual animal so that people like me don’t have to drive four hours super excited for puppy of their dreams only to be letdown because it’s not the puppy in the picture. Horrible customer service experience situation. Would not recommend this place.

I had a less than pleasant experience. I had gone in to look at a dog that I was wanting to adopt for my partner as an anniversary gift. I asked one of the employees how much they were asking for the dog and they told me 899$. I took a couple of days to think about it and decided to call and inquire more about the dog. I spoke to Andrew (the manager) and asked if the price was negotiable at all and he said no, but if I were to buy 1 additional item they could give me a 100$ discount. I wanted to confirm what he was telling me just to make sure I didn’t misunderstand. He said that they would sell me the dog for 800$. So the next day I went in to get the puppy and Andrew was helping me. He came out with the puppies paperwork and started to tell me the different prices for the different packages and I told him I wanted to pay for the dog as is like we discussed the day before for 800$. He proceeded to tell me that I just misunderstood what he said. He told me that they don’t have the authority to change the price of a dog. Then he told me I still had to buy an additional item to get the dog for 899$ which was the original asking price. Mind you this dog had been there longer than any other dog and is 16 weeks old. I am not usually one to give a bad review to any business but the way they did business here was wrong. The manager is rude and if he says the wrong thing, then you just misunderstood him. I’m also now having to take my new puppy to the vet Monday morning because he’s got blood in his stools. I just got him Thursday 2/1/18 and have noticed it since the first day. I hope he’s not sick.

I bought plants from here for one of my aquariums. My tank became infested with aquatic aphids and some other bug I wasn’t sure of. When I went back to the store to confront them. I saw they had the unknown bug all over there plants. The guy working couldn’t tell me what the bugs were but said the fish would just eat them. I tried to explain that I also had gotten water aphids but he just kept saying the fish would eat them. Aphids will completely destroy any plant if left. I will not be going back.

I love everything there. And if I remember correctly, I am glad you are able to hold the animals so you know what you are dealing with.
