This is the most poorly run U-Haul location I've ever encountered. They apparently don't keep their inventory updated, so the website allows people to book reservations for which there is no equipment. I made a reservation online to have a hitch installed and then drove 1.5 hours to this store. I arrived to find only one person working there and a line out the door. When I got to the counter, I was told they not only didn't have a hitch in stock to fit my car but didn't even have a mechanic there to install it. The gentleman behind the counter said he would issue a refund when he was done with his current customer, but never issued the refund. I just had to call U-Haul and American Express to make sure the transaction is refunded. He seems to take good care of other people though. One guy there opted not to buy the insurance on the cargo van he was renting, then went into the parking lot and hit another vehicle. He came in and reported it to the gentleman behind the counter, who took his paperwork back and added the insurance for him. The customer then walked into the parking lot and filed an insurance claim with U-Haul. Ironic this guy said he was understaffed because it's hard to find good help, but he's probably costing U-Haul a fortune in lost business and fraudulent insurance claims. Unreal.

Not sure I should say we had good experience here. Hence sticking to a 3star. We faced delays as they created a lot of fuss regarding returning the vehicle. We got the vehicle after 45mins of argument / persuasion with the people sitting there and the customer service. U-haul has pathetic customer service. When we booked we were told that we can drop off the vehicle at any time within our booking schedule. However Tim from this branch opposed and thus we had to plead the CS folks. Finally they agreed and we got the vehicle. Pretty hectic huh!

The manager Timothy Thomas is in the wrong business. Not only to be a manager, but to be an employee and represent Uhaul. He explained how I couldn't use cash, because he didn't want to go to the bank for a small transaction (personal problem). In addition to that, he was yelling at the customer next to me to select a time for a truck. Absolute horrible customer service. I ended up having to use my card, because of his horrible customer service. I am extremely dissatisfied with my encounter with him. On a different note there was a Michael Perry who was awesome and had wonderful customer service and another employee I didn't get his name. Please change this manage our for Michael. Nobody should have to experience that when trying to simply get supplies to move especially not a military member who serves in harms way to fight for this country!

Staff mixed up truck keys, and gave the keys attached to my reservation to a customer who had left 10 minutes before I arrived. I'm woken up at 6:30 AM the next day to a frantic call from U-Haul staff asking me to return the truck. I get the truck back as soon as I could, only to be told that it wasn't the truck that I had that they needed, but the truck on my reservation that some other person had. I hadn't stopped to refill, so I told the staffperson that I would now go get gas and return the truck, but he said not to worry, he wouldn't charge me. He gave me a receipt for the truck that I drove for $39 - the receipt had the other person's name on it, but he said that I would be charged the correct amount. Two days later, my statement says that I was charge $92 - this is what the other person drove, with the truck under my reservation. I have called customer service, who was not very helpful - they pointed out that I had signed saying my reservation was correct, but that was before they gave me the incorrect truck. I am now waiting to hear back if they will refund the $50 that they owe me. In any case, this location screwed me over twice - first by getting me the wrong truck, and then charging me for the wrong truck.

I rented a few times from there. OK, iirc. But people, day labourers, hanging out there so a pain to even pass by that area without feeling like being watched/predators/stalked. They don't hassle me, but people hanging around and no real privacy nor security.
