Let's start with 1) they tried charging me $600 more than my online quote. I had to call some reservation number to have them fix it then go back inside to tell them it was fixed and then they pulled it up. Then they couldn't find the discount for dropping it off at a certain location which was in my online quote as well. I had pre registered online (to save time according to their website) and then had to redo everything again in the store. 2) I go to pick up the auto transport that I also rented and was informed for the first time with my truck loaded and car needing to go on the transport that "oh you know you have to hook up the car yourself right". I talked to uhaul on the phone 4 times yesterday plus was in the store and made reservations online and at no point was i ever informed that the customer is responsible to hook up their own car to the auto transport. So I call the reservation line again and am told by customer service "I only do reservations I can't help you with the hook up of your car." I asked to speak to a manager and she said she doesn't have one there. So we get the car on the auto transport and then the fuse that hooks up the tail lights on the auto transport starts smoking and blows and no tail lights. So now we have to take the car off the auto transport and try again with another one. They only have one more so hopefully it works. I have never experienced this many problems with renting a uhaul. This has been a nightmare experience. They should be offering me a discount at this point for all of these issues.

As a long-time customer, SHAME ON YOU, UHAUL! I made the mistake of returning a rental without doing the walkthrough with the agent. Not only was I charged for fuel, (which was returned at the same level when I picked up), but I was overcharged with just about everything imaginable, including a higher rate, and later presented a "promise to pay" agreement that was double what I expected. PLUS, they have made unauthorized charges to said disputed amount to my card until I reported it stolen. DO NOT EVER GIVE THEM YOUR DEBIT CARD NUMBER - EVER. USE CASH ONLY. Very shady business practices, very disappointed.

Great service at first. Then came getting our money back, charged us over 80, we paid 60 something and got a 10 dollar refund?! And we put gas in as instructed. Be careful. They'll tie your money up for days.

Went there on 11/22/2017 at 11:00am to have propane tank refilled, no one was there and doors were locked. Called 1800 number they indicated the store should be open. Waited another 15 minutes with another customer, no one from U-Haul ever showed up. Finally Called corporate offices to file a complaint and They called the general manager. Corporate informed me The general manager stated that they have to keep the door locked because of the area and crime, and buzz customers in but that some was there but could not hear us because he was in back cleaning. I told corporate we walked all around that store knocking on doors, rang the bell at the propane station and no one was there. In fact the only two cars in the lot were mine and the other customer, not to mention if someone was there why didn’t they come out after the general manager supposedly called the guy working at the store. Corporate really didn’t seem to care and offered no remedy. This has to be the worst UHaul store in the city.

Had a trailer hitch installed, appeared to be a good job. A couple of days later I stop for gas and noticed my tail lights were loose and the rubber strip on top of my bumper was pulled off on one corner. Went inside the grocery store, while I was loading things into the back of the van I noticed one of the panels on the back doors was falling off. While they tightened the nuts on the tail lights they denied any of the other things as being their fault. Had to go to Ford and buy clips for the door panel and the bumper strip and fix it myself.
