A somewhat poorly run team. When calling in, they put me on hold and then dropped the call three times. They had the wrong appointment date and time in the system, and I would've lost my spot had I not called in to confirm. On the day of, a hitch installation was done, but the technician had damaged the paint on the rear bumper. They'll get the job done, but just make sure you do more than your due diligence, and prepare for a somewhat clumsy process.
Tariq was especially helpful- when he called about the install he asked about wiring which I didn’t have or know I needed. I talked to several U-Haul employees but he was the only person who mentioned this requirement. If not for him, I would have showed up to pick up the part & not been able to pick up a trailer without doing the installation in advance. He fit me in same day and gave me a break on the price. Knowledgeable, friendly, efficient & fast. Extraordinary experience. If they had the trailer size I needed I would have preferred to bring my business here. Mary at front desk and the young man assisting him were also super friendly & helpful. This location embodies what every U-Haul experience should be.
The installation was quick and the technician took the time to explain how the bike rack I was going to mount works. My only negative hence 4 stars was they mixed up my initial appointment time and I had to go back another day.
The price quoted was the price I paid, no hidden fees. They also installed the trailer hitch in the timeframe they stated.
