While I love Ulta and have not had a bad experience with their stylists, their policies need work. I booked an appointment in July with my usual stylist, however yesterday when I called to change the time (I got an interview and they had only one time available), I was told that my regular stylist was no longer with Ulta and that no other stylists had availability. This would not have been an issue, if 1.) I had been notified of the change and 2.) If the date of the appointment was not my only day off that week. This is not the first time a regular stylist has left the company and no one has notified me. I don't have the time to drive over an hour out of my way to another Ulta and I don't have the luxury of taking time off from work to get my hair done. If the company changes their notification policy, I will once again be glad to refer friends/relatives to the salon. The stylists, themselves are good...I have unusually thick and coarse hair and very few salons actually have stylists who are trained on that type of hair.

Often here, love almost everything they offer. Seemingly don't carry a lot in the super light shade range nor deep. Sometimes don't carry full lines of a brand either. One of the few that didn't get MAC products. But great for finding some hair care!

I'm giving Ulta 3 stars because you don't really know what you going to get walking in. I've been to the store and still go...around 10-15 to as a year. Im a make up fiend. Sometimes when I go...the staff are friendly and incredibly helpful. Ready to wait on you hand and foot and the store is lovely and clean...well stocked and smells good. Other times...the staff are rude and irritable. I usually ask opinions on new products on the girls wearing more make up and looks the most made up. For obvious reasons. And they can make you feel like just looking at them is just too stressful . like asking what they think of Bare Minerals New lip gloss in Sugar is sticky on the lips or smooth and silky. Like that really overwhelms them and they get rude and reply with "dunno. Don't use it. Haven't." ect and the store is messy and has nothing in stock...so for me...it just depends. I try to go early morning before the girls are worn out..tired and assumes everyone is stealing.

Who doesn't love makeup!! Best selection outside of the mall. Only thing that bothers me... is the store is too small for all their merchandise. Wheeling a stroller through is very difficult

Wonderful store! Helpful staff, great tester samples, and always well stocked. I'm a bigger fan of ulta due to their rewards program. In a bigger shopping center but always plenty of parking.
