Best bank in the area

They're a bank, but they're a small one so they're more like a local credit union in their awesome customer service and friendliness. They also have this nifty "local makers" showcase right in the middle of their lobby where they display the hand-made goods of local businesses. Also, free cookies!

People are nice but my gosh does that ATM outside seem slow.

There online banking is the worst. Its as if knowing your password and user id is not enough. I had an umpqua account since 2007 and use Text Banking to avoid there website since it has always been a pain to log into. Starting in feb 2015 text banking started refusing to give me my balance unless I called so I started using rheir website. Now their website has disabled my log in id. I try to call but they have a message saying the wait time will be longer because their system is undergoing maintanence until april 12th. Today is the 15th though. I have left messages but they are not returned. All I want to do is check my balance!

Very friendly staff, they always remember my name, gives me the neighborhood bank feel. Have answered all my questions, and what they didn't know they found out and called me back promptly. Can't ask for more
