Bring change for the exceptional musicians in the TTC concourse! The construction makes navigation very difficult for newbies. They NEED to replace the recently removed Go info screen on the lower level (center north exit), only a via screen is available! Or better yet, add a screen outside!!! It seems the York lower concourse has been delayed indefinitely...

Clean and well maintained. Food prices are ridiculous, as would be expected. Overall, positive experience. Directions could be made more clear for those who are not from around the area.

For the first time took the GO train from Aldershot to Union. Overall, a positive experience. However, why is there no info help at the station? I see folks asking security guards, fellow passengers and even the cleaning staff for directions. Is this what happens in a world class city? If the budget will not allow to hire staff the recruit volunteers. Give them some arm bands and they can walk around the station. I believe Ottawa uses this concept around the Parliament buildings.

It's a good train/bus station as far as train/bus stations get. Definitely very grand in comparison to every other TTC stop. Definitely would avoid around 5PM (as well as every other downtown TTC stop) as it can get very crowded.

I was picking up a passenger last night. The two or four spots on Front Street are inadequate for the amount of cars trying to drop of or pickup passengers. I parked in a York St. underground parking. If you park there, on your way back you will carry luggage down a narrow staircase. There is no elevator in that parking. Once inside the magnificent Union Station building I found myself wondering where my passenger will arrive, I was not alone. There are no signs, asking staff is the only way to find out. Once I located the escalator connecting with the arrival platform I could not find a clean seat to sit on due to dust from renovations. You will need a seat because even if you did arrive on time most likely the train did not. I would say a third world experience in the heart of Toronto bank district but I am afraid I would insult many countries that carry label. Dysfunctional is what it is.
