The Salon stylist are very talented the challenge is it is difficult to relax and enjoy the experience. They play this awful rap music which is not appealing to mature professional women. If they are charging upscale prices then create an upscale environment. Why not soft jazz???? I have seen several stylist and they are talented but I cannot handle the loud rap music. My nerves are wrecked when I leave the salon. I guess I will have to find a salon that caters to the clients rather than the stylist. Sad! The music totally destroys the experience.

The staff was very friendly, however they seemed to have barely any training in styling natural hair. I saw many women getting their hair done, but it was mostly to straighten it not to actually style natural hair. They could not style my hair because it was not "heat trained" enough. They were nice about it and did not charge me, but I was in the shop for around 5 hours, getting multiple styles. Nice people, probably cool to get hair straightened there, but I will never go back.

I went into this salon feeling confident because I knew exactly what I wanted some medium box braids I gave a picture and even a video and instead of getting the style I asked for I got some huge box braids. And there not even sealed at the end so they are already coming apart. The stylist name is Armani, don't get me wrong it's a nice style and it's cute but not what I wanted and a waste of 135 dollars.

This salon is the truth. Angel did her thang on my hair. I had a 360 lace front sew in and I love it. Next I'm getting a lace front wig. I can't wait to see how far Angel goes in this industry. Her talent and spirit is amazing. And the entire staff as well as the owner are great. I'll be taking my daughter there next.

Despite one negative opinion from a previous client of this salon, I had heard of positive things from others. I always believe in forming my own opinions and trying the services out for myself before I take anyone's advice. However, I was unable to experience any of the goods and services that were offered because of horrible phone etiquette, lack of basic math skills, little knowledge on pricing and overall rude behavior. Previous to this encounter, I was thoroughly impressed with the overall vision and mission of this salon and while I am sad that I did not get to contribute to this awesome black-owned business, I am disappointed in the unprofessionalism. Though knowing your craft is important, basic math skills and learning how to use a hold button before you proceed to talk about potential clientele is paramount. I would suggest employing professionals or educating the current staff before many others are turned off.
