Absolutely disgraceful service, with an attitude that reeks of disdain and entitlement. Mail is continually delivered to the wrong houses, packages are often thrown from the rural route carrier’s vehicle regardless of weather, and mailboxes are frequently left open to the elements. Attempts to discuss these issues with the carrier are met with rudeness and aggressive hostility. The Postmaster (mistress) is apparently incompetent to correct the problems, or doesn’t care, or both. If these people had to make a living in private industry they wouldn’t survive the first week. Look up their salaries online (its public knowledge) and be prepared to be shocked and stunned - they make a fortune, at public expense, despite not giving a damn about their jobs. Sadly, apparently there is nothing that can be done.

We have lived here in Youngsville, NC over 10 years . We RARELY ever have problems with our mail. When we did one time the problem was immediately corrected. We love our Mail Carrier; she is friendly and very hard working. She goes out of her way to make sure we get our packages especially during busy times. One member of our family very regularly receives packages from overseas. We have NEVER had any problems with these packages once they arrived at Youngsville. These carriers are hard working human beings, and do not deserve to be so cruelly tongue lashed . They are understaffed and often have to work late into the night. I doubt they get paid as well as they deserve. I am deepely offended at the descriptions of our carriers used on this ‘review page”. I am suspicious of someone who lives out of town sending packages to Youngsville and having constant problems, calling one of our postal workers a crackhead???? That is borderline libel! I had to come on here and give my honest opinion and defend them! I ho-e they remove that terrible review!

The ONLY reason they got ONE STAR- was because I could not leave a review with ZERO STARS!! I live in Arizona, and I’ve been selling online for 15 years- I sell over $200,000 per year- shipping items ALL OVER THE WORLD- and this is the ONLY POST OFFICE EVER that I have EVER even had trouble with! From the Post Master there, to the DELIVERY GUY- they’re ALL TOTALLY WORTHLESS!! I understand that sometimes things just happen, AND that the more items you ship, the more often problems will arise, etc., but you can NOT believe this is just one of those things! EVERYTHING, EVERY ITEM I Ship to ANYONE that gets their mail that goes thru THIS particular Post Office is a problem, and when you call- 97% of the time no one even ANSWERS THE PHONE, 2% of the time they LIE AND SAY THEY’LL “TRY TO FIND IT AND CALL U BACK”, and the other 1% they call back telling lies simply just protecting each other. Hey- how bout this? Try FIRING THE POST MASTER THERE and actually hiring someone COMPETENT AND TRUSTWORTHY??!! As long as they have that CRACKHEAD MAILMAN delivering the mail, stuff will CONTINUE TO COME UP MISSING- so fire HIS WORTHLESS CRACKHEAD BUTT, TOO!! Then everyone wonders WHY the USPS is going under?! Fire those worthless folks and hire someone DEPENDABLE, why dontcha? Too many good people need a job!!!! Dear GOD- i can only IMAGINE the theft during Christmas, geez.... UPDATE: just got off the phone with someone w/ a high position at USPS- hopefully HEADS WILL ROLL! Normally, I am the type of person that tries to work things out and I would hate to see for anyone to lose their job, especially during the holidays, but seriously, they cannot fire those people fast enough!!!😩 it’s just RIDICULOUS! I see I’m not the ONLY PERSON that has issues with them- let’s stick together guys and do WHATEVER WE HAVE TO DO TO HAVE THIS RESOLVED!!

This particular post office is terrible. Our postal carrier consistently puts mail in the incorrect mailbox. We are getting our neighbors mail and not receiving our own. Also the postal carrier refuses to deliver our Amazon packages. I have twice tried to speak to someone about this and twice the post master was supposed to call me. However they never call. The postal carrier obviously does not care about their job and the post master has the same attitude. Terrible service.

Though the individual was polite when speaking to me, I am in general sick and tired of the 'canned procedures' within the USPS. Typical to a pseudo-government institution, I was denied access to a package that I needed because of their canned procedures. I need a package to fix my truck, was provided a text message that it had arrived at the Youngsville post office - so it's sitting right there. And yet, this Priority class package has been delayed AGAIN, now being delivered four days after it was picked up. So I called the local PO and asked if I could just come and pick it up, and the answer was Procedure A doesn't allow us to give you your own package, because Procedure B prevents us from allowing Procedure C, blah, blah, blah. ENOUGH. Learn to have some flexibility like UPS or many of the other privatized delivery companies. I certainly avoid the USPS whenever I possibly can for packages that I need to guarantee on time, and I'm glad that Amazon sends packages to me via my Prime membership through UPS, AND IT GETS THERE ON TIME, no hassles or worries, pretty much always guaranteed. Get with the current century, USPS.
