We've had issues with stolen packages in the past. You call to see if you can pick up your packages yourself so that you can make sure you get them and save the USPS driver time and fuel, but they don't allow packages to be held. But there is a package intercept/redirect service, for $12.95 per each package. Seems like a money grab. Customer service on the phone is a joke, specially when you call them first thing in the morning. Guess this place doesn't have an employee coffee machine, as everyone seems ill from waking up. If you want your packages held when using Amazon, call Amazon before you order and request to have UPS ship it. They're holding additional packages for myself to pickup and all I had to do is click one button. Much better customer service through UPS as well.

If I  could give no stars that's what they would get.  We have lived in Waxhaw less than two months and they have lost two packages.  Our neighbors received at least one piece of our mail that we know about because they were nice enough to return it to us.  It was our credit card!!!  One of the packages was found and delivered severely damaged.  We received it in the boxes along with two of our neighbors packages.  We delivered them to our neighbors because we didn't feel right leaving them in the unlocked box.  These employees start making $16+/hour and can't seem to do anything right!

Parcel box key was put in someone else's mailbox! This is not acceptable. Luckily someone is honest and left the package in the unlocked parcel box! Out-going mails have been missing too! Please improve your services!

This post office is a joke . I've lived in Waxhaw for over 10 years and all it has done is gone down hill . At least once a month I don't receive important mail and don't even trust to send out mail from my mail box due to repeatedly finding out it was lost . No this the last straw , I sent out an important renewal form for my insurance and dropped it in the mail drop outside the post office and now 3 weeks later I discovered I no longer have insurance due to their negligence.  I will be handling this promptly with a district manager

Our mail carrier (Melissa) happily and faithfully fulfilled my special request to deliver packages in a covert way before Mother's Day to keep my gifts to my mom a surprise.  It was no small feat, but she was all-smiles about it!
