Just like so many other poor decisions by the city of Abilene, this post office and the drivers are unsatisfactory. First, the choice to put combined mail boxes instead of delivering to each house is pathetic (UPS and FedEx do it...) . Then, to make things worse, the drivers constantly deliver to the wrong address. Good luck getting a hold of anyone to fix their mistakes... This office doesn't answer their phone.

In store service was nice. Guy at the counter... Josh I think- had a great accent very nice, helped me with my package options etc. Very positive experience compared to other stores.

UPDATE: mr. Baker is the best, if you see him you actually be taken care of professionally. If you're unlucky enough to have to deal with any of the other employees the rest of this review applies... This is without a doubt the WORST post office I've EVER dealt with. I will be filing a complaint formally. Unbelievably unreliable, unprofessional, and flat out just cannot get their act together. I put, in writing, a request for them to hold my mail... They have it on file, but it was as if I had never done so. The mail just kept coming and after it was destroyed, they didn't feel like they should be responsible. They have excuses for everything. Get an attitude when you don't have a pink slip to pickup failed deliveries, when they never left one! If you're lucky enough to find their secret phone number, they won't answer the call. If they do, you will be jerked around and left without answers.Think of the most lazy, careless group of people you know... THAT is this office.

Terrible post office! I’ve been waiting for my mail to come for 3 weeks now! HORRIBLE! They need better people with actual responsibility working there!!!!

Passport service is by appointment only...even if you have everything printed, filled out, and ready to turn in. You can wait in the long line to make an appointment though since they don't answer the phone. Good luck!
