I've lived in Jackson for over 10 years. Been to this post office at least 4 or 5 dozen times. Customer service is fine.. Sometimes, I've waited on line for what seems forever on line. Every package/letter I've sent out from there, leaves and arrives .. on time.. It truly depends on when you get there, and whose working. They get frustrated like anyone else.. for the most part... they're friendly, speedy, and efficient.

I have to say I have been having trouble with the Post office lately. But today when I called about a problem for a priority package I sent on the 9th (was supposed to be delivered by the 12th) I ended up speaking with a woman named Beverly Anderson. She was so very helpful. I gave her the tracking number and she explained what may have happened to the package, where it was at that moment and then offered to call the post office it was at to see if they thought it would be delivered today. She called me back after speaking to them and she explained that they did not know yet as they were still sorting but that she was going to call them back in 30 minutes and she would then call me with an update. This to me is customer service! I feel she is going above and beyond and making sure my package arrives and that I know what is going on. There was a similar situation that occurred in a San Antonio post office and they did not begin to be as helpful as Ms. Anderson was. I appreciate her service and I hope when she calls me back she will be telling me that my package is delivered.
