I was mailing passport application. Final step was to edge of picture stapled to passport application. A morbidly obese African American postal worker did not know how to use the automatic stapler and stapled into the center of my passport picture. He did this even before I could show him how to properly use it!!!! After I had him remove the staple and demonstrate that you can set the stapler distance at varying distances we stapled it correctly. Now, the state department says my picture is damaged and wants me to send another one. I'm livid. DO NOT LET THIS MAN TOUCH YOUR STUFF!!!!!!

I sent 2 priority mail packages on the 16th of the June, 2017. Both packages are stated "Acceptance 2017-06-16, 12:17:00, OAKLAND, CA 94610" but it's not showing any other activities (NOT MOVING ANYWHERE). Called the office, but never pick up the phone and USPS customer service takes more than 40 minutes to talk to a person on the phone. Ridiculous.

Although there is one woman there who is cheerful and tries her best to be helpful my contention is with the service in general. The younger woman rolled her eyes at me and passed me off to her supervisor. When did it become acceptable for people in a service position to be rude to customers?

Bad service. Disgruntled, shrewlike employees. They can't even open their doors on time. One of the worst post offices I've encountered.

There's a lady who works behind the counter who will absolutely make everything ok in your life even if you've been waiting hours for service. It's contagious. Now all the other staff are kind, helpful and go out of their way to connect. It's like some throwback to the 70's.. best Post office in town!
