Our postman is horrible. We live in the Belle Meade subdivision and I work from home. I see him turning around several times each week because he missed a piece of mail or a package and had to return to a previous house. Today, he didn't deliver my package and entered that the "Customer Not Available or Business Closed" in the comments for the tracking number. I was sitting at my home office desk and saw him putting our mail in our mailbox. He didn't come to the door or attempt to deliver my package. Instead, I had to spend some very frustrating time on the phone trying to get my package located and schedule a re-delivery.

I tried to call about a package that had to be picked up and after 7 minutes of dealing with an automated system, I was told the wait time was between 43 and 65 minutes. Government agencies/ big business at their best!

Back in March their carrier delivered my packages to the wrong address and marked them shipped. USPS refused to reimburse me because they were marked "shipped"even when their carrier admitted to dropping them off at the wrong house. Never got the items and after a constant battle I was reimbursed for one and never received payment for the other ($103.00). Packages were insured too!!! To this date, most of our neighbors, including me play "musical mailboxes"delivering the correct mail to each of us. They are still misdelivering. As a matter of fact, one resident stopped by today to deliver my mail the carrier left in his mailbox. Sad but true. I would not be here complaining if I got reimbursed for the packages they misdelivered. Its so fustrating that they wont listen to you and have the decency to explain in detail why they refused to reimburse on their mistake. All they kept replying to in their website was "Claim denied, package delivered".....The local office did try to get me reimbursed with no avail. However, they continue to misdeliver packages on my street. Ever since the loss of my merchandise, I can say they have misdelivered my mail on 6 ocassions, not including how many times I have found mail and packages in my mailbox belonging to other area residents. Maybe I should send them a fuel bill for doing their job.

Let's be honest here. I'm sure that lots of people at Odessa Station are hard-working mail handlers. But one bad apple... one apathetic a-hole is all it takes. Que up my parent's mail carrier. I don't know how many times we need to file a change of address, but of the four we did fill out over the course of three weeks, OF COURSE the second one to get filled out (the one I made ONE SINGLE mistake on because I was irate), is the one that get's filed for use. And worse, this is something we have done every year like clockwork for nearly a decade now. Now, because this guy doesn't give a crap, I have watched a package of mine bounce around from city to city for 33 days as of today. When originally the package had less than fifty miles to travel, it has now gone over 1,500. As of today, it's SOMEWHERE in downtown Tampa, presumably on its way to North Carolina or Egypt, or some-such. No, that is not my local post office. Oh well... Just because they get it right 99.5% of the time, doesn't mean when they disappoint you they don't got BIG about it. All because of one apathetic pile of dog slime. Good job, buddy. Let's fire you and give your job to a combat veteran; if you're willing to die for my freedoms I know you're willing to go that extra mile and get me my package. Seriously. I hate my parent's mail carrier. Hate. Hate. Hate.
