As far as post offices go, this is a nice one. My mail isn't even processed at this location, but I've had enough problems at "my" post office that I'd much rather send my mail out from here.

This post office is located in the strip across from McDonald's on Lindbergh. The blue drop box is behind the building.

Inside, there's a drop-box for lightweight packages and a postage kiosk. If there's a line for the counter, be sure to grab a number. You'll occasionally deal with an employee with a little attitude, but you have to remember that service employees--in all businesses--are dealing with customers all day, every day. Who knows how they've been treated or what they've been dealing with. There should be some level of courtesy, but you've got to have a little understanding as well.

Parking here can be crazy. Finding a spot shouldn't be a problem, but it can be very busy. In addition, to the post office, this strip is full of things that people only visit for a few minutes (e.g., Starbucks, a cupcake shop). Consequently, people are constantly entering and exiting the lot. Backing out can be tough.

I wish I could give 0 stars. Very very rude people working here on 8-16-17. I went in to ship a precious memory of mine and when I came to the counter, and mind you I have never shipped a package before, I was told the boxes were over in a corner with no other instruction. I didn't know how much boxes were what the differences were between priority or not, if I had to buy packaging etc. I felt like such a bothersome and overwhelmed that I ended up leaving and going to the UPS store where I got amazing customer service. Needless to say I know where I'll be shipping my packages from, from here on out.

This is among the better US Post Offices. Still falls short of providing reasonable customer service. I wish it were not true, but I continue to be driven to UPS or FedX each time I give the USPS a try.

I think they are wonderful. They are friendly and quick! I would rather go there than to one closer to my home.
