WORST USPS EVER!!!!
USPS claimed that Notice Left and No Authorized Recipient Available!!!!?????!! I was home all day on last FRI to wait for my package and heard no knocking of the door. Besides that, they didn’t leave any kind of notice!!!!!!!! So I called to ask for redelivery on TUE, they said they will, but no one attempt to deliver it! I called again on THU and FRI, they said they will, but again they didn’t. Now on SAT, I called them this morning at least 5 times, no one pick up the phone!!!!!
They are doing nothing except lying!!!!!

Weirdly, letters did come in, but THREE packages in a row went wrong with me - receptacle blocked, no access, receptacle blocked. I live in a regular apartment building, and I can't imagine why on earth these things should ever happen. I requested redelivery for all of them, but I only got the second one on the requested day (thank goodness!). They apparently lost my first package, for whatever reason (I got this piece of information after I finally got tired of waiting and visited the office), but they failed to call me back and come up with a solution which was promised. The third one failed yesterday, I requested redelivery today, and not surprisingly, it did not happen. I'll just keep waiting for some magic.
I'm now seriously considering paying some extra money to other carriers, who will actually take care of my stuff.
The lady at the counter was indeed friendly, but I'm afraid this is not enough for me to write a positive review. Please Mr. Mailman, get my packages delivered!

I for one, unlike so many reviews here, had a GREAT experience at the post office today. There were about 4-5 other people in line and they we were ALL taken care of in less than 10 minutes. Support your local USPS office! Positive reinforcement is also important, so write good reviews if you've had a good experience.

Couldn't post this without marking a star but this location is not even worth 1/2 of a star. Have had mailing issue with this branch multiple times. I have been a highland park and east liberty resident my entire life. This is by far the worst post office branch in the city of Pittsburgh. There phone line is never available, nor do they have a voicemail.  There is rarely a supervisor or manager onsite to ask questions when you need them. My mail carrier is never consistant or the same and delivers after 5pm most days of the week.  Pretty sure there was a complaint made by the city of Pittsburgh police back in 2015 since the carrier never filed anything with them, after the police followed up with my common welfar concern on a neighber who was found deceased and the mail was all over the front porch. Branch site only has one employee working the front desk during "window hours" don't expect to get in and get out in a timely manor. I highly encourage the residents of east liberty to continue to complain to remedy this, or to use a different branch for all postal needs such as Bloomfield.

We are trying to receive a certified letter and missed the first delivery. We took the notice to the office the next day and the woman at the desk wouldn't even look for it and told us it wasn't there. Our postman confirmed the letter was at the office but when we tried to pick it up again today the door was already locked. Please fire your employees and start fresh because we will only be using UPS and FedEx from now on.
