Was helped by a Mr. Magic, a really friendly and helpful gentleman who efficiently helped box and process my goods. 

I would take the negative reviews with a gallon of salt. Who cares if it is located in an older building? And check business hours before you show up obviously.

Came on this when looking for the address. We have been so lucky to have our own post office in Del Ray. Yes, you have to wait in line but I've always had friendly and efficient service here. Really surprised by all the negative reviews.

Please. change the information to reflect that this post office is closed from 1:30 to 2:30 every day.

A shame to say it because it's in my neighborhood, but not surprised this one is slated to close. There's no self-service at all, so even dropping pre-stamped packages requires standing in line. Also the (only) clerk insists on telling his life story to each patron regardless of the line length and takes forever. Frequently out of stamps and change. Closed during lunch. Wow.
