UICCU is far and away the best personal banking alternative in Iowa City. Their staff is friendly and helpful. Their breadth of services matches or exceeds any bank in the area and being a shareholder instead of just a customer does pay dividends. Lee S

Your Telephone answering system is terrible. You have way understaffed the system. It appears to be designed to get people to hang up in frustration. Every time I have called the hold period lasts for a minimum of ten to fifteen minutes, which seems like an unacceptable length of time to talk to a human being. When I have opted for the systems request to be called back, I receive no call back. For the top rated bank in Iowa this is a disgrace.

I have always been treated with respect. The staff is always friendly and I usually don't have to wait long to be helped.

I love our bank. Everyone has accounts even our kids. They call us by name, they remember things about our lives. We appreciate all the resources and information they share with us. AND that is just the personal bankers... the mortgage department is top notch. Best I have ever worked with. I would highly recommend UICCU.

I appreciate the awesome membership benefits and the friendly, caring staff. They make it easy to make the best decisions for our financial plan. The only thing I wish they would improve is the ability for both parties of "joint" accounts/loans to have the same access online and to be able to see the same information. They are really NOT "joint" accounts if someone is listed as "primary" and their spouse is listed as a "secondary" party to the account and cannot see the same information (like loans, etc)or have the same access. This has improved within the last year, but it is frustrating that my husband has to give me permission to see loan information that has both of our names on it---because I have to login as him to view it. (equal partners?) This is not his doing, but a bank (actually, every bank's) policy. Not sure how this is still "okay" in today's world? (Sorry for the rant)
