Its been a month after paying my premium, and I have yet to receive any documents/cards for my coverage. Every time I call, it goes straight to a busy signal (companies still have those?!) or it says "all circuits are busy". I'm not even a month into this insurance and already I'm not impressed.

Horrible. I am so devastated right now. I have been trying to get my adopted daughter on insurance since she was born in October but have had issues with the marketplace and University of Utah. They just couldn't figure out how to do it without a birth certificate (which I get on final adoption). After months of trying to get special letters and documents, I called to sign up. The agent said it was ok for me to start Dec. 1, I paid my premium and she told me to call back mid december to set up a monthly payment schedule. Skip to today when I called to set up payment plan. I just called and they told me I had been cancelled two days ago because I hadn't paid for October and November. I told them I double checked with the agent to make sure I could pay and start Dec. 1 and she said absolutely and made a note. The agent today and supervisors said sorry that employee didn't have her information right so sorry you are out of luck. I would assume their employees would be knowledgeable in what can and can't be done (she even checked with a "supervisor") and made her note. UMMM...., you can't just say oopsie sorry an employee made a mistake sorry you are screwed now and thought you had coverage and don't. I now have to pay all my bills myself. I asked to talk to a "supervisor" but today's agent felt "uncomfortable" giving me any names of supervisors I could talk to to remedy this issue. She said, she'd let them know I called and they could get back to me sometime in the future, but definitely not today. Apparently me losing my insurance with notice or warning for my infant isn't a big deal to them. I have always thought highly of this group, but I am unbelievably disappointed in the negligence of the original employee and the lack of customer service in overcoming that negligence. I will be pursuing legal action!!!!!!

We have had the university of Utah health insurance since January. In April we had our son and added him the day after he was born. Fast forward 3 months later as we are picking up a prescription for our sick son we are told our insurance was terminated 2 months ago. Without our knowledge, and continuing paying monthly! We have had problems since the day we got this insurance! Getting letters in the mail every month saying we are behind on payments even though it comes out automagically. DO NOT get this insurance!!!!!!
