As a University of Florida graduate, Tyler has extensive experience in the Gainesville housing market, specifically in the areas near UF campus. However, over the years his focus as shifted to include property further from the college as well. Tyler began his career in Gainesville working for a successful property management company specializing in luxury rentals near UF, giving him unique insight into the rental market for undergraduates, graduates, and young professionals alike. Very Happy Parents - My wife and I recently worked with Matt Price and his team to find and purchase a condo in Gainesville for our sons to use and to rent. Matt sent us accurate information on the listings that met our criteria, and then he helped us narrow down the units that best met our needs using his specialized local knowledge. Once we chose a unit, Matt's team helped us coordinate a painless closing in just a few weeks so that our son and his roommate could move in before classes started. Thanks Matt.

Don’t bother with any other realty companies in Gainesville. We used University Realty when we bought our condo and sold it. And, the ease of transaction was great on both ends. Matt Price and the team there took care of everything. Never once did he present a problem without giving me potential solutions that he would take care of. And, when it came to addressing any issues the buyer had, he was at the front end helping me towards resolution. Never once did he push it off on me. Matt and team, I can’t thank you folks enough. Job well done!!!

We recently purchased on condo, Matt Price and his team assisted us with everything since we are not in town to handle anything personally. Matt and his staff responded to our calls and emails timely and they are extremely professional from the initial phone call all through the entire process. I am very thankful to Eric Leightman for helping my wife and I find and purchase our first home. It was a pleasure working with him. He walked us through the entire process, from selecting a home to closing on the property. He always regarded our opinion and was transparent with us. Once he saw what we were looking for in a home he was able to make great recommendations. It was refreshing to work with someone we grew to trust and now consider a good friend. What we valued the most about working with Eric was his genuine interest in helping us, even if it meant not purchasing a home. To us that spoke volumes. Not only is he knowledgeable of the market and real estate process but he honors those he works with and readily made himself available. We had the most wonderful experience purchasing our home! We highly recommend working with Eric Leightman and the rest of the team at University Realty and would certainly work with him again.

Only cares about the complaints of homeowners using their company to manage the tenants, they DO NOT care about making things more convenient for tenants and they DO NOT listen to tenants. Expect an employee of their company to come by every 3-4 months to walk through and just eyeball all your belongings, get ready for them to say they will be there that day between 9am-5pm when they are only in the unit for less than 2 minutes and can EASILY give you a more accurate and HELPFUL time frame. BE PREPARED to have accusations thrown at you that you have multiple people living in your apartment because you have more clothes or shoes than they think is reasonable.
