I had a awesome experience, thanks to STEVE!  We started with a tow set up by our insurance company  in the middle of the night from the freeway to their shop (also recommended by our insurance company).  The tow company caused damages to my transmission during the transport requiring it to be rebuilt.  Steve was awesome!  He worked for 3 weeks with the insurance company to prove the damages were related to the tow incident.  This shop is professional, reliable and very reasonable with their pricing.  They work to help and satisfy the customer and I am so grateful for care and tenacity that was in my best interest!  Thank you Steve, John and Team at University Tire & Auto Service!  Hands down, I recommend this shop to anyone in need of auto service!  Virgie

My fellow Trojans, DON'T GO HERE IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF!  I went today to change the bulb of one of my headlights after making an appointment. But there, I was told that changing the bulb of one of my headlights might take 45 minutes. They said the part is $16 (the bulb) and additional $75 for labor....also since the estimated time was 45 minutes - COME BACK tomorrow -they also said they normally charge $25 just for labor, but since my car is a mercedes and complicated - they charge $75 - but if takes less time than expected, I might get a discount ! Mad about the situation, I drove 2 minutes on Vermont to the- Vermont Auto Center ..where first i was welcomed in although close to their closing time (and obviously with no appointment) - and then GUESS HOW MUCH IT COSTS?  $30 total including the price for the bulb and labor !!!!AND IT TOOK 4 SECONDS!!!!!!!! so either the people at University Tire and Auto service DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING or they are a SCAM ....i am not sure which one is worse but i was about to get ripped off paying $91 for no reason !

Helped find out what is wrong with our car and were very prompt and helpful. Repairs costs were reasonable and they took good care of us. I would take my car here if I lived in the area.

I got a great price on 4 new tires. The staff is also very friendly and knowledgeable.

Amazing! Nicest guys in the city and were so helpful and trustworthy and do NOT try and rip me off in the slightest. Get like a VIP even as a first time customer.
