A long list of bad experiences! 
Called for a freight service. I got a quote number and rate, when I called back to book the service they could not find my previous quote so had to make a new one and book the service. When I followed up a few hours later to double check what time the delivery truck would come I learned that my booking had never been made!!! Had to remake the booking and quote and everything for a 3rd time! Note here: my quoted rate was for $266 and some change. I ask if I have to do anything to be ready for the driver or fill out any paperwork, I get told no. 
Next day the driver terns up on time, but asks for my bill of lading. I had been told I didn't need to fill one out and that UPS would do that. Nope! Had to do that and delay the driver by over 30 minutes. I check with the driver that the crates would be delivered by noon the next day. He says Yes. Absolutely! This was a requirement for me and I was willing to pay extra if I needed to for it.
Next day I am waiting for the crates to be delivered from 10 am on. Come noon no UPS driver had come by an my crates were missing. I call UPS they say they forgot about my cargo and oh oops they'll call another service to deliver them and that the extra charge for delivering by noon would be removed. 2 hours later I finally get my crates, but it was already too late! I had absolutely needed them before noon! On a side note, I had asked for lift gate service if they could provide it but did not require it. Now a month and a half later this is why they are claiming my crates were not delivered on time even though they made it clear on that day it was because they had forgotten/ overlooked my crates during the morning's delivery schedule. 
Now, a month and a half after all this, I get my bill. They are trying to charge me $1339.06 for this "Service." It is 5x what they quoted me! They have no record of my quotes, they have no record that they messed up and delivered my crates late, they have no record that they agreed to remove the cost for early delivery from my bill! What complete B***S***!

On a second case, before I received this bill, I had contacted UPS to do another job for me. I was looking at shipping a crate internationally. I talked with a guy who says he handles the international freight shipping. The next day he passed my on to another guy to help my with my shipment. I talked to him for around 15 minutes of what I needed done and he said he would call around, get some quotes for me and call me back with them in maybe 1-2 hours. It has not been over a week and I have not received any word back from this guy, nor from the first man I contacted. Now, I'm glad I never got a call back.

Scheduled a pick up 24 hours in advance and then they called at the end of the availability window stating they couldn't pick it up for another 4 hours, poor customer service waiting until it's too late to even get another carrier.
