Took my 8 year old because she was deathly ill. Dr saw her and said it was her asthma and did the first part of strep and it was negative. Sent us home with prednisone prescription. This was a Sun. Took her to her Dr on Tuesday and she was diagnosed with Strep Throat (which they said he should have seen that on his computer because I took her to her doctor the 2 days before I took here here it was neg for the 1st part and her Drs office was closed but the lab tested for the 2nd part of strep and it was positive and they put it in the computer that day). AND PNEUMONIA!!!! He was on the computer talking to me and to a student doctor!!!!! DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU FEAR FOR YOUR LIFE!!!!!

Super friendly staff, but after waiting an hour, I was essentially dismissed (12/24) and given a prescription for nasal spray. As symtoms have only worsened, I went to another doctor today (12/28) that tested me for strep throat, and the test came back positive.

It wasn't even 6 pm and they had already closed there doors what a shame to even say there open late if they close the doors before the time, never bringing my kids here every again

After the passing of a great family physician I had had for 15 years I searched for a practice that met the same high standards I had been used to for so long. I met with many physicians ay other practices but it was not until I came here and met with Dr. David Shelburne did I find a physician that I felt totally comfortable with. I knew I had found a home here with Dr. Shelburne and the staff at Wake Forest Family Physicians. A family physician is a doctor who you place the ultimate trust in and there needs to be a very high level of trust and faith in the level of services and professionalism a patient receives. Dr. Shelburne listens very carefully and considers all of my concerns and possibilities when moving forward with any treatment I require. I am not just a part of my healthcare process, I am always made an important partner in my healthcare. Dr. Shelburne's medical knowledge and attention to detail is second to none. I feel completely confident in the healthcare services I receive from him and the staff at Wake Forest Family Physicians.

Looking for a doctor? Don't go here. The staff is nice but the doctor I met with had me out of the door in 5 minutes believe it or not. Came from a busy doctor and thought I'd give my business to these guys but the doctor in basically pushed me out the door, saying I need to see a psychiatrist instead and he doesn't care for Adult ADD. I asked the doctor if he could recommend any of his collogues in the building and he said that no other doctors here would treat Adult ADD either, he literally said he spoke for all of them! I wouldn't recommend anyone to this place, in fact, I don't think they want any business at all.
