beyond frustrated with this bank's corporate policies & lack of recent technology. i'd moved & tried to send MYSELF MY OWN MONEY and they would not let me do it without being physically there. my local banker tried, very very politely, to get it done as well. no dice. they said they could not safely identify me [ despite local banker's offer of assistance] UNLESS a staffer at my former local bank could vouch for me. i have gone there almost every two weeks for over a decade, and i have BLUE HAIR. like, bright blue. no one remembered me. they would not accept a facetime call, they would not accept anything. just...no. not even a real apology for messing up my house purchase. just...no. luckily, the person i shared the account with arrived back in town & could send it, otherwise i would have had to drive 4 hours one way to nearest branch. the twitter rep was equally unhelpful, tho' a LOT more sympathetic. overall, totally unacceptable. this is only the last in a long string of bizarre issues, such as them freezing my credit card every time i went to a tech store....because they didn't recognize that as a legitimate purchase....that i was making every month! ? !? ! have pulled almost all of my money out. not all, because...i can't close my account without being there, either. unless you are ok with minimal account security, and them holding your money for any excuse whatsoever, don't bank here. bank at the smallest local bank you can find with decent tech, with minimum 2-step authentication [if you have a smart phone/safe internet access]

This is a data Center and not a banking location. Us bank is one of the best banks in the USA.

USBank's technology, from their online banking system, to opening up a direct deposit, to even their chip-less debit cards, is out of date. The staff are unhelpful and the overall customer experience is an abysmal one. Even trying to close out your account is IMPOSSIBLE unless you physically visit a branch (a luxury many on the East Coast do not have). Their overdraft charges are highway robbery too. Absolutely unacceptable, stay away.

Beware of getting a mortgage with US Bank. If you miss a couple of payments as I did because I became disabled and had to wait for Social Security Disability to be approved, they will make things frustrating at best and ruin your credit at worst. For example, I was told "don't worry about paying the past due amount, they will roll it into a new loan" then they trashed my credit report for months because I didn't pay when they only told me to pay the new mortgage payment amount. Ultimately, US Bank will not apologize for not giving you information or giving you misleading or wrong information and they certainly won't fix the problems created.

LEAVE US BANK IMMEDIATELY! US Bank is corrupt and against our constitution and against our rights. When confronted about their new policies they will just ask you to leave their Bank. You cannot make it a law that we have to give you our ID address social security number date of birth if we are working or not just to deposit money into people's accounts. You cannot tell us how much money we can put in our account every day. And then you cannot state to me to my face that we can do what we want. We can track your money and we can track you and that's what we're doing. NOT that's against the law you're going to have a lawsuit brought up against your bank. I will find many people to join in the shutting down of your bank. Your location in Cambridge Idaho is a disgrace the people that run it have sticks so far up their ass they need help pulling them out. This Bank also steals money from its people with all of its charges for every little thing. They will screw up your account and then tell you sorry we screwed it up but we're not fixing it or giving you money back. US Bank is government-run and they're stealing your money. To ANYTHING BANKING HERE SWITCH BANKS IMMEDIATELY. HELP SHUT THIS CORRUPT BANK CHAIN DOWN
