I have seen with my own eyes the mail truck go by my house and mark a package as not being able to be delivered when they didn't even get out of the truck to ring the door bell. The tracking information would say it was out for delivery, the truck would go by and then it would come up saying it couldn't be delivered. This means I have to go out of my way to go to the post office and wait forever in line to get my package because the mail man didn't do his job. Real bad customer service. There's also been times when they said they tried to deliver while we were home and there was no knock on the door at all.

Worst customer service ever, the mail carriers lie about attempting to deliver packages, I was 2 mins late and the doors were locked while the 3 ladies at the registers laughed at me.. if you can avoid this place, please do. I've never seen so many unprofessional employees in one place.

I had a package and an arrival date and time and I watched by the window and the mail van drove right on by. The next day I waited for the mailvan to come (UPS said the package had been delivered the day before) and my landlady flagged down and talked to the mailwoman, who said she saw a package sticking out of a mailbox across the road- and that box never got packages. She said she had been off and thought the sub had placed my package in the wrong box. Sure enough, she checked and it was my package. To back up, when I had called the post office that morning, the route supervisor said he had checked the route log and the package had been delivered and that was that. I said, "But I never got it not did I see her deliver it." "Well," he said, "It's marked as delivered so it's no longer our responsibility." So if my landlady hadn't caught the postwoman and the postwoman hadn't been so observant and cooperative, I probably would never have received my package. Altogether it was a very stressful experience and the route supervisor came across as incompetent, uncaring, and rude. Not surprising as the Princess Anne p.o. has been known as the p.o. from Hell for the last twenty five years. Perhaps because they seem so overworked; always long lines when I used to go there.

Went to pick up registered mail that was originally delivered while I was at work (and a scheduled redelivery didn't happen even though I waited all day), and I ended up getting lectured about my drivers license not having my current address. I've attempted to get that matter fixed with the DMV twice now, but the person at the post office window gave me a lecture completely talking down to me as if I were irresponsible. Of course their phone didn't work so I couldn't talk to the supervisor. TERRIBLE customer service

Every single time I call this post office it does not ring and goes straight to..." Sorry the number you called is busy. Please try again later." About a week ago I sat and called 200 times in a row!!!!! Seriously!!! I never got through. I just called today and got the same thing. I am so fed up with not being able to contact this post office. My mail is regularly screwed up and online marked as not being able to be delivered when it has been or having 2 day shipping through amazon to be delivered on a Sunday and the package showing as being delivered when it hasn't and then being delivered Monday.
