Used to be a nice place to visit, with a friendly staff. A new employee there hates customers. As a regular customer, I came to hate the time when I need to go there to drop off my package. Instead of a smile, I am greeted with rude remarks.

Doesn't get much worse than this. My delivery guy will rubber-band my packages to my mailbox flag because he's too lazy to walk the 50' to my door. After repeated calls to the office, I get empty promises about correcting the behavior, but I still get this type of nonesense. At the office, you've got Kim who's as mean as she is ugly. They need to clean house. Fire everyone. I wish I could perform so poorly as my job and still keep it. I didn't think that level of incompetence or laziness was possible, but that's the government for you! It's too bad Postal Connections just closed. Now I'm forced to go here again!

I had a very special issue with filling for a new passport but Kim at the Oregon post office helped me get through everything. She called a few times to the Chicago passport office to get my passport situation questions answered. Even though they didn't pick up the first few times, Kim kept calling again which was amazing and very helpful. I have not had great service like this in a while. This whole process has been very rough for me and troubling but with Kim's help, I think it has all been figured out. I would really like to thank Kim as much as I possibly can. I will let everyone I know how great of a help Kim was to me today. Thank you very much!

The service at this USPS location is awful. I attempted to purchase multiple books of stamps with a card. When I swiped my card, the postal lady advised me she needed to see the card. I politely handed her the card, along with my government issued ID. The lady responded by saying I needed to sign my card and showing me the "USPS card policy." I advised the lady my card stated SEE I.D., and that my signature was on my government issued I.D. She handed me the card back and said you either sign the card, or you can't purchase stamps or anything else here. Clearly, this was frustrating to me as all of my cards say SEE I.D., and they have been that way for 14 plus years, with no issue. In the end, I went to the post office in the neighboring city and was able to purchase stamps from that location with the card I originally attempted to use in Oregon (with no changes to the signature line as well). I find it rather ironic that the Post Office has been financially struggling for years, and when you attempt to give them money, they actually turn you down... What bothers me most about this is the rude tone the lady took with me, as well as the fact that the policy they have in place is not consistent with every other merchant in the world (or other USPS locations in general). In summary, I would not recommend this location to anyone, and hope that they get some fresh employees hired that treat customers with kindness and respect.

To the reviewer frustrated with having to go to another post office before finding an employee willing to break the credit card acceptance rules and jeopardize their job: boo hoo, cry me a river. Anyway, it's your average small town post office, max of two clerks at a time. When I'm there I usually find myself behind people who have no idea what they are doing, and that makes for a long wait. If you need someone to hold your hand through the packaging and shipping process, FedEx is better set up for that.
