If other businesses were run as poorly as the U.S. Postal Service, they would be forced out of their industries within a year. Customer service in-person (Laramie location) varies widely between employees from great to surprisingly bad--usually on the bad side. My experience today was exceptionally frustrating. Having miss-marked an envelope (which I've done in the past without consequence), the rep proceeds to inform me that I have to pay for the error. So, I bought two envelopes today--one of which I had to bring home for some unknown future date when I might have the opportunity to cover up my previous writing (and still have to pay $15 to ship only a packet of paperwork). Would have been great if you could have told me I could write over the error BEFORE I took another recycled envelope off the rack. It wouldn't be so infuriating if they didn't charge an arm and a leg for this cheap garbage. When I asked for tape (which I have also had offered to me at no cost on multiple previous visits), I suddenly find out that I now have to BUY it. You're telling me that TAPE is too expensive to give to the occasional customer in the two strips they need without charging for it?! Are you crazy!? Oh, but they sell it now. It's overpriced, but I guess we pay for convenience (or when we have no other choice). Really? No wonder people hate USPS. It's unreliable, inefficient, penny-pinching, and bloated with an inappropriate sense of its own importance. Some of this might have been alleviated if I had the impression the customer service rep cared even a little bit, but she was short and unsympathetic. I left feeling cheated and disappointed. Super job, USPS.

Priority mail took 7 days. No different than regular shipping just 5 time the cost. No tracking the entire times. Just listed as in transit for 5 of the days. Left facility in Denver and was never scanned again.

Nice people, but wouldn't even let me ship vape juice after I told them there was no nicotine and then they made me open the sealed envelope to check ( the one that I had just purchased).

The Laramie Post Office is terrible!! I have had several packages with tracking numbers get misplaced - the tracking info shows 'notice left', but I had been waiting at home for them, and there has been NO attempted delivery and NO notice left!!! Even the package with 'signature requested' has not been delivered to my door for a signature!!!! I'm extremely upset at the mishandling of my mail. They charge an arm and a leg for postage, and can't do their job properly. I have been in to the post office several times, trying to get this sorted out, and the manager (who was in his office, according to the clerk) refused to come out and talk to me. It's very disappointing to see this lack of care and service, especially in an otherwise friendly and hardworking community like Laramie. EDIT: I was finally able to get the box maintenance/key man out to look at our mail box and see if mail was misplaced - nope no misplaced mail. He took the time to call our mail carrier up on the phone (right there on the street!!) and ask him where our mail was. The carrier informed him that there was still a HOLD on our mail!!! Keep in mind that I have been to the Post Office no less than 5 times, asking for mail, and each time was told that delivery had been resumed, and they had no mail for us!!!! So, blessed be the maintenance man, who got things straightened out, and told our carrier to ship all mail up to the office to be picked up, and resume delivery for our address. Bless him. Because the folks at the post office can't seem to get their ducks in a row. THANK YOU, Maintenance Man !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good luck getting them to pick up the phone, or even deliver a package on time. EDIT: Now I've gone in twice to check on the package, and one lady said it arrived, with the wrong address. Fixed that, and they said they would call me when they got it. They didn't, and sent it out. At which point, I waited until they ALMOST closed, and went to check, giving them the benefit of the doubt that they might deliver it on time. They said, and I QUOTE, "It said it got delivered yesterday, and that it shipped out today, so we're right on schedule." ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! So then I get a call later that day (apparently they still had my phone number) to tell me that it was on its way. This was now 5 minutes before they closed. Who knows when I'll see that package, probably after the weekend. TL;DR - If you live in Laramie, avoid the USPS like the black plague, and use UPS of FedEx instead.
