Recently moved to Zone 16 and was told I needed to go to the post office and request a key (live in an apartment complex). I go on a Thursday afternoon, was told by the "delightful" woman at the counter it was a $20 change-lock fee. I started to wait bc I really wasn't prepared but went ahead and coughed up the $20 anyways. After she took my money, she THEN tells me the person who does lock changes will be out til Monday and I should be receiving a call then. Fast forward to the following WEDNESDAY---no phone call. Instead of calling them, I go back. Same delightful woman says, they ran out of locks...that's why they tell people to wait for a phone call. After taking a few deep breaths and reminding myself it'd be a federal crime to reach around that plexiglass and choke some common sense into her, I asked her how was I supposed to get my mail. She told me to either try to catch the mail carrier when they come out (seriously?) or put a hold card in the mail and come there and get it (really?) But I have faith that today's gonna be today. Because it's been over a week and even the idiots at that post office could've found the time to get new lock and keys by now. If not, this may be my last review for 5-7 years.

HORRIBLE!!! Don't count on your packages getting to you! There is a great deal of theft from these carriers! Many if my packages were opened and some NEVER arrived at all! When I spoke with the manager, Sharon Robinson, she told me to contact the sender and have them send me another item! They are committing a federal offense by stealing customer's mail. An investigation needs to be launched at this site!!!! Horrible service!!! They are robing us blind and getting away with it! 😠

These people get paid too much money to fuck up consumer packages and standard mail. Employees are rude and ghetto, even the mailmen. They leave our apt mailboxes unlocked. Throw the damn mail and circulars on the floor. Keep packages longer than they're supposed to. They dont even knock with the package..they will leave your shit sitting outside for anyone to take and say you signed for it! They get paid entitely too much to fuck up FEDERAL PROPERTY!

They never deliver my packages on time. I always have to call and fuss them out for misplacing my items. I'm so sick of this place. They need to be shut down. Their employees are rude and do not want to help find your package. The delivery guy misplace my items consistently and never got in trouble for doing a crappy job. Never send your packages here.

I love this post office and our mailman. Living in Fairmount it can be challenging with the walk but our service is the absolute best ever!
